Summary: The Bible is a book filled with prayers and filled with men and women who pray. At the same time the scriptures talk about wrestling through prayer and laboring in prayer. It acknowledges that prayer can indeed be difficult. It can create a lot of guilt to admit that prayer is hard but if we do not we often end up putting prayer in a box. Making it part of a religious to do list as opposed to the overflow of an active, living, ongoing relationship with a redeeming God who actual wants to be “bothered” by His children.

Summary: Is worry really a sin? Why? With everything that can happen on a daily basis, is it even practical not to worry? What does my worry stem from? What’s the difference between doing my part and trusting that God will actually show up? If I am honest, it is not that I think that God is too small, but sometimes it feels like my problems are so big that I need to come to my own rescue? And other times, it is as if God is so big and my problems are too small for Him. Oh, just listening to myself think makes me worry! What do I do?
